Take me
Mood:  lyrical
Now Playing: listening to Brand New, The quiet things no one ever sees
Topic: Songs I'm working on

Take me from my innocence and grace, let me come into your place, see your face. Countdown started, it isnt time for the lighthearted, passion builds up, threatens to erupt. Take me now, show me how, to make things right, to ignite you, the way you always do to me. darkness surrounds my heartbeat pounds, kisses framing your body on mine, wishes melting our hearts away from time, and place, and space-"

Anticipation

One of the best moments of a date, and yet one of the most terrifying is those few precious moments you can look into a mans eyes, and tell he wants to kiss you.You can hardly call yourself a woman if you dont recognize that moment. its instinctive. you feel it, and you prepare, by touching your lips one-too many times, leaning inward, and tiliting your entire body to revolve around him. But pay very close attention to his eyes, looking into yours(hopefully not anywhere else). Maybe they look hesitant, waiting to see your reaction to his approach before he kisses you. Perhaps, they might look determined, saying he feels in control, and with deliberation, says he is goig to have his way. The most unusual way for him to look at you on a first date is with uncinditional longing. This is a look people may wait forever to get, but never get the chance, or rather the fate of recieving. It is the most intense, passionate look, and suggests a long makeout session. Your guy may not be the best kisser, or he could be amazing, but the time between the decision and the action of kissing, even if he never actually makes it to first base, may be the best, and most revealing moment of your night. Im not contridicting Cher, and i know its in his kiss, but thats not where it ALL is.

    Sitting still, waiting.

For the tedium to begin.

Endlessly, endlessly, each day the same,

A routine we seem never to notice.

Day after day, living in lies.

Sheltered from blame by our ignorance.

When truly who should be blamed for the evils,

Then those who turn a blind eye?

Living through life one day at a time,

Enraptured in our own petty troubles.

Never wondering what you can change,

Or expecting change to occur,

Past, Present, Future to come,

All share one trivial cycle.

As the grays of one day fade into the next,

The hues of all feeling diminish.

Soft melodies that once made the heart swell with joy,

Fly, dissolving into a drone.

With time passes knowledge and wisdom and feeling,

The sense dull and all fade.

So when pain is not felt, nor beauty be seen,

Who then can be inspired?

So time is the answer then?

All we need to know is..when?

When shall hope be coated in frost,

And inspiration be lost?
